(AP) Air China Limited, the flag carrier of the People’s Republic of China and one of China’s major airlines, awards General Electrodynamics Corporation (GEC) with large Wireless Aircraft Scale System purchase.

After 2 years of extensive global research, evaluating product technologies, talking with existing customers, analyzing historical scale calibration results, and scoring company 3^rd party QMS certifications, (i.e. AS9100D and ISO9001).   Air China concluded the most technologically advanced aircraft scale in the world is manufactured by General Electrodynamics Corporation (GEC) of Arlington Texas, specifically their model AN60z.

The AN60z’s will be used to perform aircraft weight and balance on their fleet of B747’s, B767, B707, B787, B777, A319, A320, A321 and A330’s.
