Features of the GEC MD600L wheel load scales

The GEC MD600L fully mechanical wheel-load scales are NTEP approved, light weight, low-height and extremely durable. This fully mechanical, intrinsically safe, unique measurement design makes the GEC MD600L wheel load scale the most desirable unit in the world.

The GEC wheel load scale is designed for use on uneven – unimproved surfaces and with extreme temperatures in mind.  From over 60 years of a field proved patent, (after the MD400’s and MD500’s), the MD600L wheel load scale is now available.

The MD600L has a 19¼ inch x 14¼ inch active weighing surface, weighs only 46 lbs., 1.8 inches tall, and will accurately weigh on virtually any surface. The MD600L is accurate to +/- 1% and easily read with a magnified lens in pounds or kilograms.

The MD600L meets and exceeds all accuracy requirements Per NIST handbook 44 for Class IIII Devices (NTEP certified)

Since 1956, we have engineered portable wheel load scales for determining the weight of heavy vehicles. Our wheel load scales are manufactured in the USA (Arlington, Texas) and used for strict law enforcement, commercial and harsh military applications.
